Their debut series, The Ministry of Mercy (Cascades Publishing), follows two senior officers of an ancient bureaucracy that operates the passages between the living world and what comes after — and the relationship the institution erased between them. Across five books, the work moves from procedural mystery through civil schism into a quiet negotiation with the institution's own four-century conscience. The writing is interested in patience, in the shape of devotion across long timelines, in what queerness becomes when it is permitted to age, and in the small mercies that keep large structures running.

Lattimer lives in the American Northeast. They keep no social media accounts and conduct correspondence through Cascades Publishing.
